Just two weeks before launch, the production company reached out to North Village Coffee to execute an intricate CoffeeMate brand activation in the heart of downtown Chicago.
The scope was ambitious: batch and scale high-quality custom recipes for approximately 1,200 drinks across two days — while maintaining a premium, high-end presentation. The client provided a custom menu, and we optimized recipes and batching systems to ensure consistency at volume.
To support demand, we engineered a tap cart solution to keep cold brew flowing efficiently onsite. Our team also arrived the day before activation to complete the final set build the production crew had spent the entire week constructing — transforming the space into a fully immersive coffee shop experience that existed for just days before disappearing.

The client wanted a refined, premium coffee-shop look, and our La Marzocco Linea Mini machines aligned perfectly with the visual direction of the activation.
We also incorporated our Ripples latte printer, allowing branded designs to appear directly on drinks. This paired seamlessly with the “magical elements” built into the experience, including self-stirring spoons, logo-revealing cups, and color-changing straws.
Over the course of the two-day activation, the team was continuously busy, delivering consistent quality under heavy demand and helping turn the pop-up into one of the most talked-about installations of the week.
